“Thank God I’m not who I used to be, and thank God I’m not yet who I’m going to be!”

I think the pastor repeated this quote a total of four times during last Sunday’s service… so apparently, he was trying to send SOME sort of message!

I can’t begin to explain how meaningful this quote is to me… and so I thought it would mean something to you guys too!

How many times in life do we regret all the things we have done in our previously?

It doesn’t matter! What’s done is DONE, and there is NOTHING we can do to change what we have done. NOTHING. You can say “sorry”, you can look back upon it as many times as you like, but there is nothing we can do to go back and change it.

So get over it. It’s hard, but it’s simple.

But keep in mind that there is a future ahead! It excites me to think about where I will be in five years! This is the joy of life! Not knowing. John Lennon once said a very smart thing…

“Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.”

Geez. I think this is one of the most eye-opening things I have ever heard. We get so caught up in making plans for our futures that we forget about what we are leaving behind.

Sometimes, we just gotta drop everything, and finally live for once. I know that sounds crazy, but this world has become so consumed with the hustle and bustle of everyday life, that we essentially forget what we have been put on this Earth to do. LIVE.

Go out and LIVE. You can’t imagine how good it feels when you finally do.
